Usage:

Dexketoprofen Trometamol is an aryl propionic acid derivative, is a nonsteroidal, antiinflammatory drug (NSAID). It is the dextrorotatory enantiomer of ketoprofen, another common NSAID. Ketoprofen has antiinflammatory, analgesic, and antipyretic properties and has been used since 1973. Racemic ketoprofen is a very potent in-vitro inhibitor of prostaglandin synthesis. The effect is due to the (S)-(+)-, enantiomer (dexketoprofen), while the (R)-(-)-enantiomer lacks any such biological activity. Dexketoprofen was developed with the aim of reducing the time of onset of effect, increasing the potency, and reducing the gastrointestinal side effects.
